09:54 pm: [Headline could not be showed. Owner must fix manually]
So it became monday again. The with the monday came loads and loads of rain. Just the thing to set the new part-time workers in the right mood. Yep. Today we had 4 new people joining us, of those 2 persons are named Robert. Hmm. If necesery, they can call me "Robert nr. 1". Like Chesney Hawks, "I am the one and only" (terrific song, I have to say). Kinda nice, acctually. But something I noticed was that we all got mindly divided in 2 groups. "We olds" and "The new ones". Weird, but interesting. Since the news ones had to get a tour on the working-place, we oldies set out on our own to work, and it was like some new form of get-together-ness. We even did one of these games where: "Say the name of a country, and the next one says another city that starts with the same letter as the previous city started with." (everybody getting this so far?). I felt a bit rusty, and when the theme was set to cities I slipped my tougne and said "Maramba" when it was my turn. Well, fictional ones can count too, you know? The last theme was Names. Won at that one :-) .

Back home, I came across a newspaper article about Bruce Springsteen's concert in Sweden. And, omigosh, everytime "The Boss" needs to get his arse cleaned, he just takes a trip to Sweden, since all the media stands ready to... you get the idea (pardon for the language, but that's how I see it). That whole article was of total lack of substance, was overly biased, and just went with the assumption that "It's Springsteen, so it MUST be great." Also, they made a big thing over the fact that he said "I love Sweden" a couple of times. I mean, really big. I really doubt that he has seen more of Sweden rather than concert-halls (and Blonde girls, maybe. I can agree to that XD )
Many years ago (it seems) I was a big fan of him. In fact, his Greatest Hits Collection was the first rock-album I bought on my own. I've always been of the assumption that people who abandones their Idols when they becomes really big (labelling them for "sell-outs" **** that word) are just mentally fucked up, as well as being anti just for the sake of it is plain ridicolus. Well, my past swoon for Springsteen's music suddenly got a bad aftertaste. Nothing bad about Bruce, of course, it's not his fault, and I still love several songs from his "Born in the Usa" reccord.

My conslusion to this (fawning)?
Other people's opinions may mean more than we want to admit. But remmebr, it' just an opinion (how all that adds up is beyond me, but meh)

I'm off to sleep.

10:02 pm: "Highway Star"
Today's day ended with a chicken-race... Well, almost. 2 working teams were on their way back to the garages. Only one car at a time can drive in to the main are, so who would it be? Our, of course! The winner instict awoke for all of us, and we got some fun out of it.

And during evening: I got a confirmation e-mail, saying that my "order is on its way". If I'm really lucky, I may get it tomorrow. Mmmm. "Blue streak - Speeds By - Sonic the Hedgehog - Too fast for the naked eye - Sonic the Hedgehog"

July 2nd, 2008

08:16 pm: Today's working day could've ended up very misfortunate. We were a group of 5 people who had removed weed from the "memory place". The clock was 9Am, so it ws time for the first break. After loading the car (powered by an electric engine, it's basicly a gold-car) me and another person climbed up on the loading-space (or whatever, I don't a dictionary). Halfway up, the car strated to move. So I hung along the side for a couple of meters. Wowie. The driver was a bit stratled of it (can't blame her), and will henceforth probably make sure everyone is in. But it was fun :-)

Apart from that, I got to burn some more. In usual order, my hand turned very shaky after it. I couldn't even hold the coffee-cup. The sun is doing murder to my skin, so I'm gonna have to dorwn myself in Sun Lotion. Winter, all is forgiven.

On the brighter side of the news: I've finally managed to acquire Sonic CD for PC. Yippie-ka-yay! Only 89 bucks, which is heavily underrated. Oh well, I can't be blamed for their mistakes ;-) (especially since I was prepared to pay 500 for it, heh heh)

08:57 pm: Come on baby, light my fire
2nd day at work. It was very nice to get back to that place, and meet all the familiar faces. The boss (the best one I've ever had) however was gone for vacation. Hmmm. Perfectly timed, I guess :-) (by her, I mean).
First day it was pouring. We were relieved from our chores and got assigned to indoor-work. Me and another part-timer sweeped out all of the dust in the garages. So much dust that it looked like "a coalmine in the east(ern Europe)". The next day the sun was basking, and I got to burn stuff. OK, so it was weed. I got burned myself, both from the sun and the burner-device. Ouch. My leg was spared from any scars, but it still hurt (but only a little).

Right now it's 9PM, and I still feel like I've come home from job just now. Bleah.

10:17 pm: On monday, my job will start. Same place as last year, I've been looking forward to this. Anyway, I'm more anicipant of the driving-test in July. I gotta fix it somehow.

The last couple of weeks, I've played a lot of Tiberian Sun. And I have never that often used the vocal expression "Mmmmrrrrlghghghghg GAAAAAAAH" so often. Okey, so it is a little bit old, but the AI is sometimes downright stupid. "Indiaan Jones and the Last Cruscade" for Mega-Drive didn't work much better either. Not so much platform as trial-and-error. I thought it would keep me occupied until they release The Kingdom of the Crystalskull on DVD (the only good movie I've seen at the cinema since I saw Revenge of the Sith). Yeah, it will keep me occupied alright, since I'll not clear it until then.

Also, got some chatting with my old PSO-patrner-in-arms. Both of us suggested I could invest in a better PC so that we could play together again. Maybe I'm going back to Ragol again...

Just back from the match between Sweden and Russia. 0-2. It wouldn't be so bad if not the lousy game... unfortunatly from Sweden's part. I don't mind loosing (as long as it doesn't become a habit), but watching it was a pain the lower back region.
To explain it: imagine playing an RPG, you're in a random battle. All your characters's attacks misses, and those that hit makes no real damage. You can't run, your healing items are running low. Meanwhile your opponent keeps firing away and all you can do is to defend.

Now, I'll play some "World Cup Italia 90", time to get even with Russia, or more likely the USSR. On the other hand, it's the Olympic games later this summer.

11:43 am: Yesterday me and dad was out for some test-drviving. Grandma was out (normally we use her car, since it got manual gear) so we used "our" automatic. Anyway, we made it to a parking-lot (managed to park quite nicely, go me!), but when we were going out, well, the doors were locked. Not too bad, you might say, but we couldn't open/unlock them! So we were locked inside out own car. I can think of better situations. Central-locks has disadvantages at times. We could at least roll down the windows, so I could unlock the door with the key. Everyday Mission Impossible.

European Championship rolls on. Unfortunatley a small loss against Spain. Sure, only 1-2, could be worse. What really grinds me is that that goal was made in the last minutes (92th, I think). The day after the match, I plugged in "World Cup Italia 90" in my Mega Drive for some revenge. Neither Greece nor Sweden qualified that year, so I had to do with USSR vs Spain. 7-0, thanks to my special shot from the left side. Yippie-ke-Yay! Next game I chose to be Denmark. 8-0.

June 10th, 2008

10:42 pm: Yayness!
Just back from watching the match. For those who doesn't know, the European Championship (football) has started, and today it was Sweden's first match. The start could've been better, concerning our opponents were Greece (last championship's winner). The game ended in 2-0 for Sweden. Yippie-kay-yay! One of the goals were of course a little... a accident (hilarious to watch, though XD). "A dreamstart". Totally.

Now for something else. If I turned Totalitarian Ruler of the World: I'd declare tomorrow (June 10th) and June 7th as holidays. Why? Turn back the clock three years:
June 7th 2005: Completed Skies of Arcadia for the first time.
June 11th 2005: My first concert with Billy Idol.

Some things stuck. And these two is inprinted, burned, cut.

Hell yeah.

06:12 pm: Tuesday
Woke up at 7:30AM to take the bus to town. I had booked the test for the theory-part of my driving's license. You have to pass the test before you get to do the driving-part, so that's why I was going back to Härnösand to do it there.
6 hours later I arrived. After cheking in to the hostel (acctually my old school) I went out to eat. Nerveous as heck.

Alright, thsi was the day. Rise or fall. I started the day with a crime upon my principles, aka, having breakfast at McDonald's, only because there were no Burger King or Max around (Max is a Swedish humbuger franchise. One of the few that topped McDonald's and made them move off, in a town in North Sweden).
11Am the test started. 70 questions, of which 53 must be correct. 5 of these were "test-questions", they wouldn't give you any points if you answered them correctly. Hmm. With 50 minutes to do it, I went through it. I even had time to look through the questions again. Finally, during the last minutes, I got it done. I got the grad up on the screen at once...
...
Godkänd.
PASSED!
Yippie-ka-yay! I almost did my "sitting-victory-dance", but decided against it, due to public. After getting the papers for it, I went to my driving-school where I've been taking all my lessons. Now my driving-test is booked. July 16th. Oh, giddy. I'm almost there.

Thursday
Now I'm sitting home, all alone, doing the regular stuff. That is: staying in my pyjamas all day (I can do it because it looks like a suit), squeeze the toothpaste-tube on the middle, playing video-games and go crazy at my artificial opponent (also mocking it when I'm winning XD) and all that.

Also, today it's the Swedish national-day. Hmm. Completely forgot. It's said that we here in Sweden are not to prone (or good) at celebrating that, unlike those weirdos in the west (Norweigeans). The political party "Sverigedemokraterna" sure have their field-day, but then again, they are xenophobic. Bleah.

01:12 pm: School's out
Yesterday it was the premiere for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystalskull. The action started a lot earlier, though. After a short visit to the school's computer-guy, I spot someone I didn't want to run in at at the moment. What did I do? rushed up one stair and hid, pretedning he was a nazi or something. I even had my notebook on me, while it's not having any leads to the Holy Grail, at least it's something. When the coast was clear, I left the building, and while goinf to the cinema, vaulted over a roadblock. See? It's dangerous to go humming the Indiana Jones theme all day long! Also, found 50 bucks on the way there. Yay!

The movie itself then.Spoilers!!! )
The next day (whihc is today) me and four others took our driving-test at the "slip-track" (that's as close I can translate it). And DAMN that was slippery!! Ever spun around 360 degreeds with your car? Well, that's what happened to me. None of us passed. Well, we were not suposed to. Instead we were meant to get a look on how hard it is to drive on a bad road.

I made it back to school. Just in time for the graduation. Yes, today was the last day at school. We who finsihed the course got our grades and evaluations. I got a 3 (out of 4) so I was (and am still) VERY happy with it. The hardest was to say goodbye to my class. I mean, this is one of the few (if not the ONLY) class where there's been some sort of fellowship. Most of us have had a troubled past, but in this enveiroment, we've all showed our best sides, and develped as humas. Even if we don't get to see each other again, we still remember the time we shared, and each other. Each and everyone of us are out there, somewhere (and we got each other's e-mail adresses anyway). It's been a great time, and I've managed to regain after what happened last summer.

Oh, and when I handed in my review about the book "The Alchemist", I quoted Vyse's opinions on the term "impossible". Who's the biggest Soa-fan of them all!?

EDIT: Oh, how could I forget? Congratulations Charlotte Perelli!! Now, do your stuff like in 1999! Eurovision Song contest 2008.

08:11 pm: Classparty tomorrow, and only some 10ish of us are coming! Bleah. It was much more fun last year. Just like previous party, it seems I'll be the only guy there. Hmm. Better watch (not wash) my hands. Sparkling-pink is an DISGRACEFUL colour. At any rate: "I got my bottle of loqua (jaegermeister) ready!"

After the driving-lesson was over, I went off to buy a new shirt. I found one really nice, too bad it was placed at one of these places which is virtually impossible for any normal human to reach. "I tried to, but I've shrunk 2 meters last night," was my explanation to why I couldn't take it down myself (I'm 1,70 meters tall if anyone wonders). Funny how a store for men (it's called Dressman) only seems to hire women for staff. I guess advices from the other (and at times strange) perspective can't hurt. (handbags, high heels, what's the point?). But they had the good taste to play "Hot in the City" as background music.

And now, I'm off watching Indiana Jones and the Last Cruscade. (I can't wait to see The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, or whatever the name was).

08:33 pm: A stupid week
So this week I've learned following:

Don't ever leave your hands exposed...

... acetone is (fortunatley) very effective at removing nail-laquer

Giraffe-sheeps are not a real animal (I know what a lama is, I just didn't regognize it. My driving-teacher laughed at it for the rest of the day)

If you haven't done your review for a book which you agreed on doing: blame your good twin.

If said teacher is looking for you to get said review handed in, try hide underneath your desk.

I would do perfect as the "Company's Computer Guy" since I've helped 50% of my class getting used to some new totally unneccesary programs.

"The Alchemist" is a great book. Too bad I had to read it through in one day. I'll at least re-read it.

Happy weekends!

09:24 pm: Something else
Over sports or videogames, I always prefer video-games. I'm simply not a sports-person. However, sports have one advantage that a video-game can never quite top.
Right now I'm back from watching a game of hockey between Sweden and Belarusian. Pure thriller through the whole match. And no matter how much one hope, you simply can't change anything about what happens. You're left out to five people (six including the goalkeeper) to do the action.
So yeah, sports are more excting indeed.

07:36 pm: Sweat! Sweat! Sweat!
Just made another theory-test for the driving's license. Scored 62 points out of 70 (52 is requered to pass). Sweet!

Also tried to find "Terminal Velocity" (not the movie, the game) on a trade-site. They didn't have it, but they can find it, depending on how persuasive they are = how much I'm willing to pay for it. Well, they just have to buy the game from 3D Realms's webshop, and I'll buy it as soon as they got it (I don't like oversea buyment, because your code will end up for someone who spends my money on a Wii (BLEARGH!!) ). It's terrific to play with a joystick.

Not that I thought it was bad in the original, but this is plain hilarious: (the fun starts after one minute)

Back with my class again. Feels like ages since we met.

The sixth day (I think) )

April 19th, 2008

05:29 pm: Three weeks of tiring work-experience is over. Yay. I've missed my class. Hope we'll get to celebrate this.

Got to practice some driving. For the first time I drove on the fifth gear. And on the way home I bought a joystick at a second-hand. Now all my games presents a new challenge. You just can't play a game suited for a digital gamepad while using an analogue controller. SO this is how it feels to be too lousy to play Sonic the Hedgehog.

05:49 pm: Found the treasure
So this is what Belleza was doing before she tried to sway my two favorite Blue Rogues and my favorite would-be Rogue:

Apperently she wasn't much of a dancer back then.

EDIT: It's April 9th. Why the heck are we having all this bunch of snow!? Built a snowlantern in god-knows-how-many years.

March 29th, 2008

08:43 pm: One week since I bought Phantasy Star IV (Mega-Drive) and Double Dragon (Master System). Cost me 800 bucks in total, but it was damn worth it. It's legend, I tell ya.

Had my first time of sea-sickness today. Well, with waves "9 meters tall", who wouldn't? Especially after that shot o´ Jaeger.

At monday my work-experience starts.

March 10th, 2008

12:01 pm: [No Deadlines, Only Headlines!]
Back to school again. Actually, I've almost missed it. Not to mention I may almost see a new classparty across the horizon. The dorm is filled again, so I can't have breakfast in my pyjamas like I used to.

My driving is actually, if you can beleive it, getting better. Next time I'll get to drive against lights. Think I'll report in sick...

Even if school has started today, we have a new week-long holiday in two weeks, the easter break. As it seems now, it looks like we'll take a ferry-cruise. Sweet. I'll be in the tax-free if anyone calls...

07:40 pm: Driving-lessons today. Got to train how to back. Went pretty much okay, so I celebrated with a chinese lunch buffé. I took seconds three times (thus I filled my plate four times). Teriyaki and deep-fried chickens are yummy!

Also started playing Adventure Quest, a free online RPG. Sorta ok, but nothing will beat Phantasy Star Online in that aspect.
